Lewmar is launching a new range of stylish, strong and reliable horizontal windlasses that utilise a superior in-line motor and epicyclical gearbox within a strong aluminium chassis and a polymer cover. Each winch is supplied as a complete kit ready for installation and includes base gasket, circuit breaker, dual direction solenoid and panel mount up/down rocker switch.

Also included is a composite gypsy with the ability to accept 6mm, 7mm (500w models) and 8mm short link chain (800w models) together with 12mm (500w models) and 14-16mm (800w models) medium lay three strand or eight plait (12mm & 16mm only) nylon rope. Operation is via a simple rocker switch panel and includes a built in manual emergency recovery system.
