Mirka Abralon Foam Sanding Discs are designed for exceptional finishing versatility, featuring a hook-and-loop soft sponge backing that adapts effortlessly to a variety of surfaces. Ideal for hand sanding, use with 150mm random orbital sanders, or rotary tools, Abralon excels in fine timber sanding, oil finish applications, and the refinement and polishing of glass, composites, metal, and painted surfaces.
Crafted with silicon carbide abrasive grains bonded to a flexible knitted fabric backed by soft foam, Abralon conforms smoothly to contoured, profiled, or intricate surfaces, allowing for precision sanding without sacrificing detail. Its ultra-hard abrasive grains ensure outstanding durability, delivering consistent performance across multiple materials, including automotive finishes.
Pair Abralon with Abranet SIC NS and Polarshine E3 Polishing Compound for glass cutting and polishing, or use it for finishing epoxies, resins, and carbon fiber composites. Suitable for wet and dry sanding, it’s also washable for extended use. Compatible with Festool, Rupes, Metabo, Makita, and Bosch sanders.
