The Compact Cheetah from Muir features a gloss white finish with chromed bronze and stainless steel running gear. Made in Tasmania, Australia, they are fast, strong, and easy to install. The entire unit is above deck, increasing chain locker space. The capstan can be operated independently to the gypsy for mooring, warping and line handling.

The Muir Manual OverRide System (MORS) is fitted as standard to almost all of the Horizontal Compact range. In the event of power loss or malfunction the anchor can be manually retrieved using a simple ratchet mechanism.

Muir offers custom options by special request. Options for this model include a twin gypsy model (zero, one, or two capstans), as well as 48V DC, 3 phase AC, or hydraulic motors, as well as mirrored (LH) and polished bronze running gear models. A Rope Chain Management System (RCMS) can be fitted for use with combination rodes. N.B. Included deck switch allows for power up only (deploy anchor manually with clutch). For power up and down, a reversing solenoid and rocker switch must be bought separately.
