This electronic distress signal includes White and IR LED, along with a thermal signature, providing extra visibility for search aircraft or vessels equipped with night vision equipment. It features no bulky fragile foam floats and automatically rights itself, floating upright in the water.

The device maintains a minimum peak equivalent fixed intensity of 75 cd for 6 hours and can run for 30 hours or more, lasting hundreds of times longer than traditional flares. It offers 360° visibility for miles and is waterproof with an IP68 rating, capable of submersion up to 500ft/152m, thanks to its double O-ring seal.

The orange fluorescent housing ensures excellent visibility. It is equipped with a reliable, simple, self-cleaning twist-on switch. This product is a legal replacement for signal use in Tasmania and Western Australia.
