This canvas strap retainer is manufactured by Stayput. It is designed for use with Stayput canvas to canvas fasteners, and simply fits under the nut.
When the canvas roll-up panel is deployed, the strap eyelets can be clipped to these retainers to keep them out of the way. The retainer can be retrofitted to existing covers with no modifications.
