Rope Supermax 12 strand-REEL
- Ideal for use as mooring lines, anchor lines, lifting slings, nets, towing lines, heaving rope and tugboat rope.
- SuperMax is the latest development of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) fibre braided rope.
- SuperMax has the strongest tensile strength per weight ratio and is stronger than wire rope of the same diameter yet only 1/8 the weight.
- Treated with a unique coating process and special heat treatment to enhance its anti-abrasion characteristics.
- Non-linking, non-rotational and easy to splice.
- Melting Point: 150 Degree Celsius.
- Zero water absorption.
- Specific gravity 0.97 (floats on water).
- Elongation at breaking point 4-5%.
