Blue Sea Add-A-Battery Dual Battery Charging System
The Blue Sea Add-A-Battery Dual Battery Charging System provides a simple, integrated solution for managing and charging two batteries from a single charging source. It combines a Dual Circuit Plus™ Battery Switch with an Automatic Charging Relay (ACR) to simplify battery switching and automate charging in marine electrical systems.
Designed for straightforward operation, the system allows you to turn the battery switch ON when arriving and OFF when leaving. It isolates the engine and house circuits during normal operation, automatically combines batteries during charging, and allows the batteries to be combined for emergency starting.
The ACR also isolates batteries during engine cranking and when charging is not occurring, helping protect sensitive electronics and distribute charging current efficiently between two batteries without requiring regulator adjustments or rewiring.
