Electric Motors

We sell a range of outboard style electric motors, suitable for many boats including kayaks, tenders, RIBs, and sailing boats. The smaller self-contained motors are perfect for ship-to-shore and other low speed operations. The larger motors can be used with several different battery and charging options for trailer boats, yachts and catamarans.

  • Quiet: The motor is mounted underwater, making it much quieter than a traditional petrol outboard. Communicate easily with passengers and other boats.
  • Easy to use: Simply press the power button, connect the kill switch, and twist the throttle. Reversing is just as easy. With an adjustable power limiter on some models, even kids can use them.
  • Easy to transport: The smaller motors are self-contained, and can be carried comfortably in one hand. The larger motors have a removable battery, splitting up the weight to make transport easier.
  • Low maintenance: No need to replace sparkplugs or adjust carbs, simply rinse with fresh water after use and follow the basic maintenance guidelines.
  • Charge anywhere: The AC charger can be used at home or with an inverter, an optional DC charger is available for some models for use in cars or on yachts.
  • No emissions or mess: No fumes, no chance of spilling oil or fuel. Keep your car boot clean and our waterways beautiful.

 

Also available are trolling motors from several manufacturers. The latest generations are brushless, with extra-long shafts, making them suitable for modern plate boats. Installation often requires a bracket, as well as a new battery and charger.

  • 12V, 24V and 36V models are available for a range of boat sizes. Pair with a lithium battery to get more runtime in a lighter package. Brushless motors for maximum performance or brushed motors as a budget option.
  • 54” to 100” shafts, suitable for low slung bass boats on lakes up to high sided 8m boats offshore.
  • Auto deploy units can be activated without leaving the helm.
  • Advanced GPS systems allow for easy control with the remote, foot pedal, compatible MFDs and even some smartwatches. The motor can be set to hold like an anchor, follow recorded paths or navigate to a stored location.
  • Worried about security or damage? Use a quick release bracket and trolling motor plug to easily remove the motor for safekeeping. Motor covers also available.
