The non-contacting ultrasonic sender eliminates mechanical moving parts, while digital filtering helps reduce errors caused by liquid movement and sloshing in mobile tanks.

• Compatibility: Calibrated for use with the Blue Sea VSM 422 and M2 Meters; will not function with other tank monitors.
• Mounting Clearance: Install at least 4" (102 mm) from any tank side or baffle.
• Tank Floor: Tank floor must be flat and not sloped.
• Maximum Tank Depth: 32" (813 mm).
• Sender Orientation: Must be mounted perpendicular to the surface of the liquid.
• Negative Connection: Connect the sender's negative connection as directly as possible to the vessel's main negative bus.
• Installation: Proper installation and positioning are important for accurate tank-level readings. Blue Sea's installation guidance recommends positioning the sender away from tank edges, baffles and other obstructions to avoid signal reflections.
