For the past several months the popular DEKS OLJE ® products have been unavailable in Australia. This was due to the Australian producers, The Flood Company Australia, halting production as a consequence of being bought out.
DEKS OLJE ® is now being imported into Australia directly from Owatrol - the French company that owns the DEKS OLJE® brand globally. The Boat Warehouse is excited to announce that DEKS OLJE® is once again available here in Australia online through our web site.
DEKS OLJE ® is available in both matte (D1) and gloss (D2).
DEKS OLJE ® D.1 is an oil which saturates the wood, literally feeding it with oil. Driving out moisture and air, it fills the wood's pores with oil, enriching and stabilising to provide long-lasting protection to interior and exterior timber. Non-film forming, clear DEKS OLJE® D.1 enhances the natural beauty of the wood while being easy to maintain, requiring no sanding or stripping.
DEKS OLJE ® D.2 is a varnish-like, tough, flexible and durable finish that enhances the natural beauty of wood. Easy to maintain and apply, the more coats of DEKS OLJE® D.2 applied the higher the gloss finish. Unlike traditional varnishes DEKS OLJE® D.2 will not craze or blister and because of its penetrating qualities will not peel or flake since water is unable to get in to the wood.
