Genuine Tenco Stockholm Tar
Tenco Stockholm tar is a pure Scandinavian wood tar made from pine wood. Real pure wood tar has been used for hundreds of years to protect and preserve wooden houses, boats, jetties and everyday items. Pure wood tar has slightly antiseptic properties and therefore protects the wood. Tenco Stockholm tar can also be used on horse hooves.
An old recipe is 1 part Stockholm tar, 1 part natural turpentine and 1 part boiled or raw linseed oil to make a coating that protects wood against, for example, water ingress.
