Sam Allen Crab Pot "Sink" Rope - Black/White (250m Reel)
Polyester/polypropylene blend 3 strand "sink" rope designed for use with crab pots. Sold in whole coils only.
Features
- Specific gravity of -1.1 (it sinks!).
- Reduce the chance of getting your crab pot ropes run over by passing boats.
- 40% polypropylene 60% polyester.
- Made to Australian Standard AS4142.2-1993
Note: 3 strand PP braided rope will stiffen over time when used in saltwater. For pre-installation and seasonal maintenance, we recommend soaking the rope in a bucket of fresh water and fabric softener overnight. This will help condition new rope and clean older rope of salt and debris, increasing longevity and minimising hardening.
