Searebbel is a self contained, battery powered autopilot to suit standard hydraulic steering systems. Simply swap your existing steering wheel for the Searebbel unit and connect the mobile app. There's no need to cut holes, install a pump, run wiring, or source hydraulic hoses. Installation time can be less than 30 mins. Removing the old wheel is usually the hardest part.

The motorised wheel connects wirelessly to the Searebbel mobile app. The app features 3 modes: Heading Hold, Waypoints, and Draw Your Route. Heading Hold mode will keep your current course, with 1° and 5° adjustment buttons. Place one or more Waypoints on the map to create a route, and the MobilePilot will steer your boat along it. Alternatively, you can Draw Your Route with a finger. Auto-smoothing is applied to the route to avoid sudden direction changes at speed.

The Searebbel MobilePilot can also be controlled by your existing NMEA2000 chartplotter or MFD (compatibility TBA). Place waypoints on the chart to give the autopilot a route to follow. An NMEA Wi-Fi gateway is required for this function (sold separately).

The MobilePilot can be used standalone, with no other devices. The Heading Hold Mode will keep your boat on the existing heading, allowing you to get more enjoyment out of being on the water.

Battery life is 4 to 6 hours, depending on boat size and sea state. The battery is removable, and the MobilePilot can also be powered by an external 12/24V source. The charge/power cable features both USB-C and cigarette plugs. The power cable can be hardwired directly to the boat's fuse box for ultimate reliability.
