Atlantic Extra Large Brake Winch - 1800kg - Wide Body

The Atlantic Brake Winches are ideal for most lifting purposes, including agriculture, manufacturing, events and entertainment. The self actuating automatic braking mechanism ensures smooth movement when lowering a load.

This model features a 1800kg capacity and a gear ratio of 15:1. The Dacromet finish provides corrosion resistance. The extra large drum fits approximately 125m of 6mm or 60m of 10mm cable.

The brake mechanisim automatically engages under tension, allowing the winch to hold its position without a manual lock or ratchet. A minimum load of 50kg is required to activate the brake. To lower the load, the handle is turned to progressively release the brake. Operation is smooth and secure.
